Alex Jones Claimed He Has “Proof” Michelle Obama Is A Man—And Chelsea Clinton Took Him Down

The former First Daughter knows how to stare down the alt-right.

InfoWars host Alex Jones is known for outrageous claims—like 9/11 and the massacre at Sandy Hook were faked. A perennial favorite of his is that Michelle Obama is actually a man.

Now he claims he has video proof.

“Analyzing the photographs, Michelle appears to have a very large penis in her pants,” Jones said in an Infowars podcast on Thursday.

“Her shoulders are wide, her face is very, very, masculine. She looks like a tranny.” He also claimed President Barack Obama has publicly referred to his wife as “Michael,” not Michelle; that daughters Sasha and Malia Obama are “beards” for the Obama family; and that the former First Lady had comedian Joan Rivers murdered for joking Obama was transgender.

We’d normally discount these as the ravings of a conspiracy theorist, but InfoWars has a regular audience of more than 3.2 million people and is right up there with Breitbart when it comes to fueling the Trump electorate.

Fortunately former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton wasted no time shooting Jones down when a Twitter follower sent her a link to the podcast.

“Michelle Obama is everything this site will never be,” she tweeted. “Honorable, brave, beloved, beautiful. Don’t need to watch an awful video to know that.”

Asked in a followup tweet why she was giving Jones any attention, she replied, “I didn’t visit the site or watch the video—{I] think we need to shine a light on the awfulness [and] expose it without giving the awfulness clicks.”

Clinton has been a staunch defender of all First Families, even the current one: Last week she criticized media outlets for coming after Barron Trump.

At the same time, she’s expressed her frustration with the Trump administration’s stance on LGBT rights. “President Trump has consistently failed to support LGBT equal rights, dignity and safety in the U.S. and around the world,” she tweeted after the ban on trans service members was announced.
