Bobby Berk Is in D.C.—And He Wants to Make Over AOC's Capitol Hill Office

The congresswoman told the "Queer Eye" star to "swing by" her office!

The third season of Queer Eye just dropped on Netflix, and the Fab Five are still making the talk show rounds to promote the show. Interior designer Bobby Berk is taking a detour to Washington, D.C. for the week, and alerted congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez that he would be in town and told her to put him to work: “Have time... will work for democracy!” he tweeted her on April 1.

We knew AOC was a big fan of RuPaul's Drag Race, but it turns out she also loves her some Queer Eye because she tweeted Berk back taking him up on his offer to makeover her Capitol hill office.

"We've barely had time to hang anything up, three of my staffers are expecting babies, and we've got a bach pad/warehouse type of situation out here. SOS!" she replied. Though Ocasio-Cortez did add how people are contributing to their wall of rainbow Post-Its, even if it had to be moved inside from the hallway.

Apparently the two slid into each other's direct messages, so hopefully Berk will be bringing his design eye to the halls of Congress while he's in the nation's capitol this week.

The 29-year-old politician's office might need a makeover, but at least she's making some statements with her decorating, like adding a trans flag outside of her office in honor of International Transgender Day of Visibility on March 31.

Are things about to get better on Capitol Hill?
