"I do like showing a sexy side to my costumes by showing off some skin from time to time," he told NewNowNext. "It keeps me motivated to stay in shape for cosplay and for my general health."

Hightower says when it comes to choosing which characters to portray, he likes those who feel like they're an extension of who he is.

"They should resonate and compliment my personality," he says. "It's super cheesy, but each one of my costumes has a small part of me made within them."
