R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe, Alicia Keys, and The Miseducation of Cameron Post actress Sasha Lane join a star-studded lineup of entertainers to protest Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh Thursday (Oct. 4) in Washington, D.C.

"We anticipate a vote on the Senate floor to confirm Brett Kavanaugh as early as Friday," event organizers write on its website. "It is critical we make our voices heard on the ground in Washington. If there was ever a moment when the voice of the people can come together in concert to change the fate of our nation, this is it."

Organizers have assembled a roster of over 20 artists, authors and actors including Arianna Huffington, Norman Lear, and Erykah Badu for the protest concert at the Supreme Court called "Bravery Is Contagious" in support of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and Deborah Ramirez, who've accused Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct. The event is scheduled for 7 pm.
