Watch Alyssa Edwards Ask Patti LuPone if She's Ever Had Crabs

"I feel like everyone in New York in the '80s and '90s had it at least once."

If there's been one bright spot in this bummer of a year so far, it is Broadway and screen legend Patti LuPone.

The award-winning actress should be throwing back martinis on Broadway in the latest revival of Stephen Sondheim's Company. But with Broadway currently dark, she can be seen in Ryan Murphy's newest project, Hollywood, dropping May 1 on Netflix.

While making the press rounds promoting the new show, LuPone sat down—remotely, of course—with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live!.

Hollywood/Netflix

Cohen had LuPone play a party game, "Patti LuPOwn Your Truth," where the Broadway belter was asked questions about her dramatic past, but Cohen wasn't the one doing the asking. The talk-show host enlisted the help of RuPaul's Drag Race queen Alyssa Edwards to do his dirty work and ask LuPone about whether she's ever been kicked out of a nightclub, trashed a dressing room... or contracted crabs!

Since LuPone, like the rest of us, is out of fucks, she answers all of Alyssa's probing questions, even admitting to having crabs twice. This prompts Cohen to say, "I feel like everyone in New York in the '80s and '90s had it at least once."

"How about the '70s?!" LuPone quips back.

Check out Alyssa's interrogation in the video below.
