After a successful first season of S&M poltergeists and ghost children, American Horror Story will be back very soon to drive us mad in an asylum.

Entertainment Weekly revealed the cast line-up and some spoilers today for American Horror Story: Asylum, and it looks like it's going to be a pleasurably psychotic season filled with creepy nuns, aliens, serial killers, and Adam Levine. Yes, Maroon 5's Adam Levine will be part of the madness. Familiar faces such as Zachary Quinto and Jessica Lange are also returning this season portraying totally new characters, which should make this installment quite interesting.

AHS: Asylum will be haunting televisions starting October 17 on FX, but if you really can't wait flip through the cast gallery and check out some of the promo material. Guaranteed you won't be sleeping easy tonight...at all...
