Former America's Next Top Model Cycle 21 contestant Mirjana Puhar was killed last night in what is being reported as a drug-related homicide. Her body was found in Charlotte, North Caroline alongside that of her boyfriend of a few months, Jonathan Alvarado, 23, and friend Jusmar Gonzaga-Garcia, 21. Mirjana was 19 years old at the time of her death.

TMZ is reporting (via an unnamed source) that a friend went to check on Mirjana after receiving a call about gunshots. The friend found two of the three bodies amongst scattered money. Since then, a man named Emmanuel Jesus Rangel has been arrested for the crime and is being tried with three counts of 1st degree murder.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that preliminary investigations lead them to believe that the criminal knew his victims and that drugs were somehow involved.

Mirjana's time on America's Next Top Model placed her as a front-runner and fan favorite in the most recent season of the popular beauty competition. Her lovably feisty attitude and involvement in a complicated on-air love triangle ended up being her downfall on the reality show, although she will certainly be remembered for her stunning looks. Many of her former ANTM cast-mates have taken to social media to express their condolences.
