Amy Winehouse's own voice provides the haunting narration for the first trailer of her biographical documentary Amy, directed by Asif Kapadia.

"I'm not a girl trying to be a star or trying to be anything other than a musician," the Grammy award-winning jazz-pop crooner says. "I don't think I'm gonna be at all famous. i don't think I could handle it. I would probably go mad."

Set for a July 3 release in the UK, Amy will reportedly chart the singer's life from childhood to her death from alcohol poisoning in 2011, covering the public bouts with depression and bulimia that ultimately led to her downfall.
