Anderson Cooper Splits From Longtime Boyfriend Benjamin Maisani

"We are still family to each other," says Cooper, 50.

The silver fox is back on the market: Anderson Cooper has broken up with longtime boyfriend Benjamin Maisani after nine years together.

“Benjamin and I separated as boyfriends some time ago,” Cooper said in a statement to the Daily Mail. “We are still family to each other, and love each other very much. We remain the best of friends, and will continue to share much of our lives together.”

Cooper, 50, and Maisani, 45, were photographed leaving their Manhattan home together earlier this week. The two were fairly low-profile during their relationship, with Maisani busy running New York nightclubs like Atlas Social Club and Eastern Bloc (now Club Cumming).

But don’t think you’ve got a shot with the CNN anchor: He’s reportedly dating a new man, Dallas radiologist Victor Lopez, with pics of the two appearing on Lopez’s private Instagram. Lopez reportedly traveled to New Orleans in January to spend time with Cooper while he shot a 60 Minutes segment on Confederate monuments.
