While many Americans and minorities have been filled with fear over the news that Donald Trump will soon be our president, André Leon Talley is looking forward to the new era in American history.

The former Vogue editor-at-large and current contributing editor told Daily Mail Online that he hopes there will be a great Trump presidency, but seemed most excited about having Melania Trump serve as our First Lady.

"Melania will be one of the great stars in the administration," Talley said. "She stands for individuality, that's what makes her special. She's tall, she's proud and very articulate."

The fashion journalist was actually a guest at Donald and Melania's wedding and insists that she will be a "wonderful" asset to the White House.

Others in the fashion world do not seem to share Talley's sentiments, with designers like Tom Ford already declaring they won't be dressing the future First Lady.
