Italian Footballer Andrea Petagna Celebrates Victory By Dropping His Shorts

In the U.S., athletes celebrate victory by pouring Gatorade over each other’s heads. In Italy, it’s traditional to strip off your pants and hug your teammates in your underwear. At least that’s what Andrea Petagna, a striker for Serie A club Atalanta, did earlier this summer in a win over Germany.

In June, the 22-year-old joined Italy’s under-21 squad for the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. After winning the semifinals, he paraded around Krakow’s Stadion Cracovia in some seriously brief briefs.
