Andrew Christian Gets Artsy With Underwear Models And Porn Stars: WATCH

Andrew Christian is never really known for its highbrow marketing strategies: throw a bunch of twinks in skimpy briefs, roll some music and watch them get to twerk. But for its latest ad, in collaboration with DNA Magazine and Twerk Underwear, AC takes its cue from ancient Greek culture:

We wanted to show off our artistic range and produce a video to demonstrate our interpretation of classical Greek sculpture; after all we love the ancient Greeks because they did not conceive of sexual orientation as a social identifier as modern Western societies have done. Greek society did not distinguish sexual desire or behavior by the gender but rather by the role that each participant played in the sex act, that of active penetrator or passive penetrated. This active/passive polarization corresponded with dominant and submissive social roles: the active (penetrative) role was associated with masculinity, higher social status, and adulthood, while the passive role was associated with femininity, lower social status, and youth.

The result is a lot of hunk and junk in silhouette. Choreographer Michael Silas lends his grace to the video, which also features some prime stallions from the Andrew Christian stable of models and actors from the Cocky Boys porn studio. Like most AC ads, however, there’s very little underwear to be seen and a whole lot of man-candy to take in. But it’s in classy black and white, so it’s art. Really, really hot art:

Of course, there had to be a little twerking, albeit tastefully done:
