Andrew Rannells Back On "Girls" To Help Hannah "Make Very Bad Decisions"

NBC's loss is HBO's gain: With the cancellation of The New Normal, Andrew Rannells is free to return to Girls, the his series now prepping for its third season. HBO launched an Instagramm-y teaser trailer last night before the True Blood finale, but we were so worked about naked Eric we forgot to mention it before.

Rannells—who appears in the clip along with Lena Dunham (Hannah), Allison Williams (Marnie), Zosia Mamet (Shoshanna) and Jemima Kirke (Jessa)—confirmed he's back in the new season to Glamour magazine. (Guess Hannah forgives him for trying to sleep with Marnie, huh?)

"I'm still encouraging Hannah to make very bad decisions; that dynamic has not changed at all," he reveals. "Allison and I still get to play around—not naked, but we get to do a lot together. I've been hanging out a lot with Zosia, which is great. Jemima and I got to do our first scene not that long ago. And Adam and I had never worked together but we just got to do our first scene, which was fun. Elijah gets folded into the group more this year."

Now all we have to do is wait for 2014.
