Andrew Sullivan Discusses The Gay Mafia With Stephen Colbert: WATCH

sullivan-colbert

Much like a six-lane highway during rush hour, you don't want to cross the gay mafia -- that totally real cabal of highly powerful gays that run the media, politics...the world? The gayluminati. The gaystapo. The cast of A Chorus Line. However you refer to them, they're more or less real...sorta. At least that's been the narrative surrounding Mozilla's former CEO Brandon Eich who resigned from the company after campaign contributions he made in support of Proposition 8 came to light.

Conservative kween Andrew Sullivan went on The Colbert Report last night mostly to serve as the punchline for Colbert's satirical gay-baiting, calling for everyone to just simma down now with the name-calling and strong-arming. Sullivan has drawn considerable queer ire after coming to the defense of Eich, blasting the so-called "ugly intolerance of parts of the gay movement." It's unlikely he'll engender himself to his detractors with this appearance, but the Colbert Bump is known to do wonders.
