Watch Anderson Cooper Shadily Ask Andy Cohen About Aaron Schock
Things got shady on Watch What Happens Live this past weekend.
Host Andy Cohen invited bestie Anderson Cooper on the show, and the conversation turned political during the After Show when Cohen brought up how someone had asked him which of the Democratic presidential candidates he was excited about.
"I was like, ‘It is too early.' I am existentially exhausted by this two years in advance. Is there any part of you that feels like, ‘I can’t believe we’re all so full-throttle on this and it’s two years away?'" Cohen asked Cooper.
“No. I feel like people have been engaged in ways that they’ve never been engaged over the last two years, whether you’re supporting the administration or not," Cooper replied. "So I actually think it’s not surprising the level of interest this early on.”
Then Cooper pulled out his library card and read Cohen, shadily asking the WWHL host, “When do you usually pick a candidate?”
Cohen called out Cooper: “Now I think you’re being shady to me. I just feel like, I’m still exhausted from the last election.”
“Well you’ve been so deeply involved that it’s gotta be tough every night, you know, to be doing this show in the midst of that,” responded Cooper, dripping with sarcasm.
“We’re deep in it,” said Cohen.
Cooper would not let up, even bringing totally-not-gay Coachella festivalgoer Aaron Schock into the conversation:
“Has Aaron Schock agreed to be on the show yet?” asked Cooper.
“Oh, Aaron Schock,” said Cohen. “She has not agreed to be on the show.”
