Andy Cohen Replacing Kathy Griffin As Anderson Cooper's New Year's Eve Co-Host

We can't wait to hear Kathy's response.

In the fallout to her controversial photo with Donald Trump's severed head, Kathy Griffin lost her coveted New Year's Eve slot on CNN opposite Anderson Cooper. Now it looks like Cooper's bestie Andy Cohen is taking her place.

The Wrap is reporting the Bravo honcho will join the other AC for Anderson Cooper’s New Year’s Eve Live on December 31.

“Andy is the life of the party wherever he goes, and what bigger party is there than New Year’s Eve? It is going to be a blast!” said Cooper.

Recalling 25 years of friendship, Cohen said, "We’ve travelled the world together and performed in 30 plus cities with 'AC2' and it’s all led to this one huge night!”

We like the chemistry between the two—and it's fun to see Cohen get Cooper to step outside his comfort zone.

But no one can make the silver fox squirm like Griffin—and on live television no less.

Griffin called Cooper out at a recent AIDS benefit performance, where she shared the contents of a letter a gay fan sent to both personalities.

“Dear Anderson, from one homo to another: You’re a fickle faggot. Really? Not supporting and backing Kathy Griffin after she had your back for years. Even to talk about your cock-sucking in her comedy back when you were still a closeted queen. And another thing, Anderson: Homo rule 101, you always back your fag hag.”
