Openly bisexual rapper Angel Haze has released a new track “Impossible,” heralding her return to the rap game with rhymes-a-blazin’.

Her first official single since her 2013 debut Dirty Gold, the track is a smoldering display of the young MC’s raw brilliance and knack for word play, as she spits chic-venom over a pummeling, industrial percussion.

“Sorry I’m crazy,” Haze sings. “But I opened my third eye, and the view is amazing.”
The musician, who previously dated model Ireland Baldwin, weaves a tale about how she “hopped on a a jet” and got out of the public eye, reflecting on who she is as an artist–and a woman–while overcoming depression.

The song is a giant middle finger to everyone, and in this rare instance, we should feel lucky she’s pointing it at us.

The normally humble Haze took to Twitter after the song debuted on Annie Mac’s BBC1 radio show.
