While everyone is getting jazzed about the new live-action version of Cinderella set to start filming soon, with the amazing Helena Bonham-Carter as the Fairy Godmother, everyone's favorite impoverished indentured servant will also be making an appearance in the upcoming movie musical Into the Woods, and that film seems to have found the perfect lady for the role -- Anna Kendrick.

Kendrick, an Oscar nominee for Up In the Air and, as we all learned from Camp and Pitch Perfect, an amazing singer, will join an all-star cast that includes Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, Chris Pine, Jake Gyllenhaal, James Corden, Emily Blunt, Tracy Ullman and Christine Baranski in the film.

And, with Kendrick the role, we are sure this Cinderella will have a bit more of a backbone. Let's hope some punches are thrown.
