Anti-Gay Activist And "19 Kids And Counting" Star Josh Duggar Named In Child Sex-Abuse Case
We avoid trying to learn anything about 19 Paychecks and Counting clan the Duggars, but when InTouch reported eldest son and anti-gay activist Josh Duggar was investigated for alleged child sexual abuse, we couldn't look away.
It seems that back in 2005, patriarch Jim Bob Duggar caught Josh, then 17, leaving a young girl’s bedroom and called the authorities after he "learned something inappropriate happened."
A source told the tabloid: “I saw and read the report and it clearly stated that Jim Bob brought his son Josh into the Arkansas State Police and spoke to a state trooper about Josh’s involvement in alleged inappropriate touching with a minor."
Josh was suspected of sexual assault in the fourth degree but the state trooper who took Jim Bob's statement never followed up. The officer was later convicted on child pornography charges himself and sentenced to 56 years in prison.
Eventually the Arkansas State Police alerted the Crimes Against Children Division and Springdale Police Department about the situation, but by then the three-year statute of limitations ran out and the case couldn't be pursued any further.
“A technicality prevented any further action,” a source familiar with the case told In Touch. “That’s been the biggest regret in all of this.”
Now 27, Josh is the executive director of FRCAction, the lobbying arm of the rabidly anti-gay Family Research Council, which works tirelessly to fight against marriage equality, hate-crimes laws, anti-bullying programs and the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy.

Duggar and his fellow FRC leaders routinely accuse LGBT people of child molestation, domestic violence and worse.
"Natural marriage is something that has been clearly defined over the years," Duggar said at the March for Marriage in April, "Marriage is essential to the American family, and every single child deserves a mother and a father."
At the same event, Duggar declared that "people of faith are being silenced."
Ironically, an FRC spokesman declared in 1999 that "one of the primary goals of the homosexual rights movement is to abolish all age of consent laws and to eventually recognize pedophiles as the 'prophets' of a new sexual order."
Oh that's what we're trying to do, huh?
