Anti-Gay Auto Shop Owner Tells Activists To "Shut Their Pie Holes" At "God And Country" Hate Forum

Brian Klawiter, the Michigan auto repair shop owner who proclaimed he "wouldn't hesitate" to refuse service to openly gay people but would offer discounts to open carry gun owners in April, hosted a "God and Country" forum last week to discuss his "religious freedom" being violated with local residents.

As expected, the forum was heavily attended by protesters and quickly devolved into an aggressive war of words between activists and Klawiter, who was flanked by prominent anti-gay speakers.

Klawiter's forum, held at a local performing arts center, featured a lineup of bigoted guest speakers including disgraced former state representative Dave Agema, religious fanatic Dave Daubenmire and controversial Christian musician Bradlee Dean.

According to MLive, Klawiter began the forum by insisting "we are not looking for a fight," but routinely asked protestors, whom he referred to as "McDonaldland kiddies, to "shut their pie holes."

MLive described the scene as "chaos," as protestors shouted pro-LGBT phrases like "We are all equal," "Love is the only answer," and "Gay is OK" during nearly every pause taken by the speakers. At one point, an activist and Klawiter supporter were removed from the auditorium for escalating their heated argument at close range.

Responding to protestors who yelled that being gay is a trait determined at birth, Dean said, "Did you hear about the guy who likes to steal ... kill? He was born this way. Sin is moral ... not physical."
