Anti-Gay Marriage Ad Uses Porn To Insult, Confuse

Simultaneously rude and sexy.

If you’re going to bash gay marriage, at least make sense. Also, don’t use such sexy men to do it. It’s distracting.

A new anti-gay mailer features some pretty risque photos — taken from porn company Corbin Fisher — alongside an incredibly confusing message. “The Committee To Save The Erie County Republican Party” is trying to make Republican State Senator Mark Grisanti look bad, after he voted to support New York’s marriage equality bill last year. (For shame/)

Unfortunately for the incredibly intelligent person who wrote this ad, his message gets lost in, well, his message. The above photo was featured on one side of the mailer, and the below one was featured on the other side with the words “Make sure your Son says, ‘Thank you, Mark Grisanti.’” Um, what?

So this politician supported gay marriage in order to get into your pants and pull out $750,000? Then he kissed you down there, or you kissed him down there depending on what this photo metaphor is trying to say. Then your son, who is gay, or has caught the gay disease because of Grisanti, is happy because he can get married and receive special kisses, too? Also, “son” gets capitalized so does that mean he’s Jesus? And why is the “some” in sometimes italicized but not the rest of the word? And what’s with the $ instead of the letter ‘s’? Was this made for MySpace?

It’s unclear if this awesome mailer has been sent out yet. But just as an FYI the person who made it might be a man named Matthew Ricchiazzi, who is apparently bisexual.

OH! That clears everything up.
