Ariana Grande Says Idea of Touring Right Now Is “Scary”
The last year has been quite an emotional rollercoaster for pop superstar Ariana Grande.
Last May, 22 concertgoers lost their lives during a terrorist attack as they exited her concert in Manchester, England. She got engaged to SNL funnyman Pete Davidson earlier this summer. Her fourth album, Sweetener, which Rolling Stone calls "the best of her career," debuted at the top of the charts. And last month, her ex-boyfriend and longtime friend, Mac Miller, died of an apparent drug overdose.
So, it's quite understandable that the singer, 25, may want to take some time to breathe.
Over the weekend, Grande took time to speak to her fans on Twitter about her desire to see them on tour, as well as her fear of hitting the road at the moment.
The "No Tears Left To Cry" singer was originally scheduled to perform during Saturday's (Sept. 29) season premiere of Saturday Night Live, but pulled out due to "emotional reasons."
Instead we got Kanye West who delivered a Pro-Trump speech.
