Did You Hear Shangela on Ariana Grande’s New Album?

"One small step for woman, one giant leap for womankind."

The hardest working woman in pop music is back with a new album, and she’s brought a Drag Race queen along for the ride.

Ariana Grande has dropped Thank U, Next, her second full-length studio album in less than a year, and if you skip to track three, “NASA,” then you will hear a familiar voice at the start of the song.

Yes, halleloo!, that is Miss Shangela, herself, saying “one small step for woman, one giant leap for womankind,” sounding like she’s breaking out of a box on the surface of the moon.

The Drag Race queen took to Twitter this morning to thanking Ariana for making her part of her new album:

Queens helping queens, we love it! Now excuse us as we go hit repeat on “NASA.”

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 4 airs Fridays at 8/7c on VH1.

I write about drag queens. Dolly Parton once ruffled my hair and said I was "just the cutest thing ever."
