Queer Up Your Ears With Awesome Audible Exclusives for Pride Month

Tan France! Sean Hayes! Lady Bunny?

Pride Month is finally here! And between all of the festivities and parades, we think you can pause the new Carly Rae Jepsen album long enough to listen to a new audiobook or two.

Audible has launched a new Pride section of their website with LGBTQ titles and some exclusive originals read by celebs including Tan France, Sean Hayes, and Lady Bunny—yes, she can read!

Audible

You Do You, available June 6, is a new Audible Original with Nikki Levy and Queer Eye's France as co-hosts who bring you a "collection of uplifting, raw, and hilarious stories from queer actors, comedians, and personalities."

"You Do You is a storytelling special with queer voices—LGBTQIA voices—and it’s people sharing their stories of when they were either not treated as they should be or how they came to be who they are now in the LGBTQ space," France told NewNowNext. "They’re sharing very intimate stories on times when they really had to show their power of who they are as gay people."

You Do You isn't the only original Audible exclusive being released for Pride. An Act of God, the Broadway play starring Hayes, has been adapted into an audiobook read by him, Cheyenne Jackson, and others. And if you always wanted to have Lady Bunny whisper into your ears, you're in luck: The nightlife legend is the narrator for Frank DeCaro's fabulous new book Drag, all about the history of, yes, drag.

Two more exclusive titles, Motherstruck, and The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey, will also be available on June 13 and June 20, respectively.

"From historical accounts of activism to personal tales of self-discovery and expression, this collection aims to capture the diversity of the entire LGBTQIA+ experience," said Audible Editor Michael Collina. "Whether you hope to reflect, ponder what lies ahead, or just celebrate how far we’ve come, take some time to embrace the spirit of activism and inclusivity that these stories represent."
