As, the playwright Chekhov once remarked, if you see a gun in Act One, it will surely go off in Act Three.

So when Aviva Drescher joined the cast of The Real Housewives of New York, and we learned she had a prosthetic leg, it was only a matter of time before she threw that leg at someone.

And last night's RHONY season finale was that time.

#LegGate took as Aviva joined her cast mates at Sonja Morgan's party at Le Cirque. Feeling cornered and disrespected, she shouted "The only thing artificial or fake about me IS THIS…! I am sick of it!"As she slammed her artificial leg onto the table.

Drescher, who lost her leg in a childhood accident, hasn't been around much this season (after getting into it with Carole Radziwill about ghostwriting her book, anyway).

This could be her way of going out on a limb (sorry) to ensure her popularity and a spot next season. We're sure it'll come up—the topic, not the leg—when the drama continues on a three-part reunion kicking off on July 29.
