Azealia Banks Arrested For Allegedly Biting Female Security Guard's Breast
Fresh off a surprise performance during Ladyfag's zodiac-themed rager Holy Mountain (much to the chagrin of many within the LGBT community), controversy-prone rapper Azealia Banks was arrested early Wednesday morning after allegedly biting a female security guard's breast.
According to Page Six, Banks was at popular Manhattan nightclub Up&Down for a private party when she tried to access the club's lower level without an entry stamp.
A source told the paper that unrecognized by security, Banks began “screaming at the top of her lungs, cursing” and using racial slurs. A club owner noticed the commotion and gave Banks a stamp, however “once she was 15 feet inside, she starts to curse at the guards again, explaining who she was, that she’s on Rihanna’s album.”
When security again approached, Banks allegedly “spit in the [female bouncer’s] face,” before she "bit the [female guard] in the breast, almost breaking her shirt... as they took her out.”
A police source added the bite “caused swelling and redness.”
Outside, feet away from the NYPD, she was heard yelling “I’m gonna call the cops!” After attempting to return to the front of the club with police in tow, Banks allegedly punched the female bouncer and was taken away as she asked, “Why are you arresting me?”
The arrest for the troubled 24-year-old comes three months after Banks was nearly arrested during a spat on a Delta flight in which video captured her launching homophobic slurs at an unsuspecting flight attendant. In November, the LAPD investigated her for criminal battery and assault stemming from an October incident at Los Angeles' Break Room 86.
Neither Banks nor her people have commented on the situation thus far.
