Barbra Streisand And Seth MacFarlane Duet On "Pure Imagination"

"It is nothing short of a spectacular honor."

Barbra Streisand and Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane take viewers behind the scenes of their recent recording session in a new video.

The two recorded a version of "Pure Imagination," the 1971 song made famous by its appearance in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, for Barbra's upcoming album ENCORE: Movie Partners Sing Broadway, due out August 26.

The 74-year-old music legend apparently chose who she wanted to work with on the album, which is her 35th. It includes duets with Alec Baldwin, Antonio Banderas, Jamie Foxx, Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, and Chris Pine, to name a few.

"When I heard that Barbra Streisand wanted to work with me, it honestly shocked the hell out of me," MacFarlane says in the video. "It still shocks the hell out of me."

He added: "Validating would be an understatement, and it is nothing short of a spectacular honor."
