Battle of the Network Gays! It's Kurt vs. Luke vs. Alexis vs Blaine!

Every week we're going to pick the gays who made the biggest splash on television and let you, the keepers of the flame, decide who will be crowned Gay of the Week.

We'll announce the winner the following Monday, and that champion will

reign until a new set of challengers are unveiled the following week.

Here are this week's nominees:

Kurt Hummel, Glee

Life as a student at the Dalton Academy hasn't been as easy as Kurt expected. He got away from a bullying atmosphere, but being a part of The Warblers meant giving up some of the individuality he had at McKinley High.

But when the Warbler's canary mascot Pavarotti died, he honored his feathered friend with a subdued and powerful performance of "Blackbird" that gave him a way to express himself with a new level of confidence and self-assurance.

Luke Adams, The Amazing Race

Lijiang, China was a strong leg for Luke Adams and his mother Margie on The Amazing Race. They started the leg in 8th place, but thanks to some strong racing, being used to living in a high-altitude city, and knowledge of the Chinese Zodiac, Ox sign Luke was able to win the leg. Let's hope he and Margie didn't use up their all their energy, since it turned out there's a second half of the leg to run.

Alexis Mateo, RuPaul's Drag Race

This week the competitors on RuPaul's Drag Race were assigned to record a patriotic message dedicated to the troops. It turned out the challenge had a personal meaning for Alexis, since her boyfriend was in the military, and had left to serve over a year ago.

Alexis dedicated her message to him, voicing her desire to see him come home safely, and she altered his military jacket and wore it on the runway. The moving and heartfelt tribute gave Alexis the victory.

Blaine Anderson, Glee

While Kurt's first encounter with Blaine left him with stars in his eyes and his jaw dropping, Blaine never seemed to see Kurt as anything more than a friend.

That all changed during Kurt's performance of "Blackbird" when Blaine finally started to see Kurt for the amazing young man we've known for a while, prompting Blaine to give Kurt his first wanted kiss.

Vote for your favorite by Midnight PST Sunday. Be sure to check back on Monday to see who you've picked as Gay of

the Week!
