BBC Is Bringing Back The Classic Britcom "Are You Being Served"?

"When you look through the peephole you should see my pussy lying on the mat."

The BBC has announced its bringing back one of its beloved sitcoms, Are You Being Served?, which ran on the network from 1972 and 1985, and developed a strong following in the U.S. when PBS picked it up in the late 80s.

Set in Grace Brothers department store, the show featured a motley crew of sales staff—including stuffy Captain Peacock, gayer-than-gay Mr Humphries and purple-haired Mrs Slocombe, who always went on about her pussy (her pet cat) with cheeky double-entendres like "at the first sign of danger my pussy's hairs stand on end."

An official release says the show is "picking up where Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft's much loved comedy left off," and will feature all the beloved characters from the original series.

That will be tricky as many cast members have passed on—including Mollie Sugden (Mrs. Slocombe) and openly gay actor John Inman, who played the fey Humprhies.

Below, catch some of Mrs. Slocombe's best moments.
