Out on Film is an Atlanta based nonprofit organization and one of the oldest LGBT film festivals in the country, whose mission is to “inform, entertain, educate, and enrich the regional LGBT community.”
And, for their 25th Anniversary, running October 4 – 11, the festival is showing a wide variety of LGBT films for what is sure to be their biggest and most successful year yet.
Most exciting is the premiere of Bear City 2, which follows a group of bears and their cubs to Provincetown, MA – the bear capital of America – for Bear Week. Bear City previously played at the festival to a very, very rapturous reception, so be sure to grab tickets to this screening quick.
Also playing is Gayby, the story of a gay comic book writer who struggles after breaking up with his longtime boyfriend. Along comes his single friend Jenn, and the two come up with a plan to have a baby – the breeder way.
It’s starting to get cold out and wouldn’t Atlanta feel just do nice right about now?
