Behind The Scenes Of The Whitney Houston Lifetime Biopic: WATCH
I Will Always Love You: The Whitney Houston Story is turning out to be as controversial as the late singer's life, Entertainment Tonight astutely noted before taking us behind the scenes of the upcoming biopic.
Well, duh. It's Whitney Goddamn Houston, one of the greatest stars in herstory. Her life hit as many highs and lows as her vocal runs with twice as much drama. Meanwhile, homegirl's body is barely cold in the ground, her family is not even pretending to be on board and this is Lifetime not Weinstein. These are not ideal circumstances, especially when dealing with a beloved icon.
However, the movie has one thing going for it: Oscar-nominee (never forget) Angela Bassett:
I'd follow those cheekbones into the desert and don't even get me started on those bangs. So what do we have to look forward to in the Whitney Houston Lifetime Original Movie™? Well, Yaya is trying it and I'm ready and willing:

Mother of the Year Cissy Huston, claims she's "exhausted" by the "continuing misinformation and comments offered by people who did not know her" and pleaded with fans to "please let her rest."
Cissy's got a point, but the biopic is intended to be a celebration of Whitney's life — of course, we won't get to celebrate until next year. And Angie's not about to drag Whit "through the muck," which should prove hard since she's detailing the Bobby Brown phase of her life. The muck starts there.
