Two more Dear Evan Hansen alumni have fallen for each other.

Out actors Ben Platt and Noah Galvin, who both starred as Evan Hansen in the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, are officially dating (and social distancing together with fellow Broadway star Kathryn Gallagher). Galvin confirmed their relationship on a recent episode of the podcast Little Known Facts with Ilana Levine.

"Ben and I are dating," Galvin told Levine. "I asked him this morning, I was like, 'Are we allowed to talk about this?' And he’s like, 'Don’t go into our nitty gritty, but yeah, people can know.' It’s still relatively new."

Platt is best known for originating Dear Evan Hansen's title character, a gig that scored him a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical in 2017. Since then, he's gone on to star in The Politician, Ryan Murphy's 2019 Netflix series, and release his own original music.

Galvin joined the Dear Evan Hansen cast immediately after Platt in November 2017, temporarily replacing him in the titular role until February 2018. He also appeared in Booksmart, Olivia Wilde's critically acclaimed directorial debut, alongside out actress Beanie Feldstein, who happens to be one of Platt's BFFs.

Platt and Galvin, both 26, aren't the first former Evans to date. Actors Ben Levi Ross and Taylor Trensch, who separately played Dear Evan Hansen's lead role, are also an item—and covered "Only Us," a song from the soundtrack, as proof.

Asked about the trend by Levine, Galvin laughed: "I know, it's so g— incestuous. But it makes sense. Like, we all went through the war together. We all feel very connected."
