And here's The Weekly ShoutOUT™. Each week we're going to focus on one out athlete/performer and feature a daily pic and career timeline. Nick released the EP Crazy Ride last year, and here's the title track, which was the 2nd place winner of American Songwriter's Lyric Writing Contest.

Continuing the top 30 live-action TV themes/openings of the 90's! At #21 is Cybill.

Airing on CBS from January 2, 1995 – July 13, 1998, Cybill was another success for Cybill Shepherd after her comeback in Moonlighting. And like that show, she had to watch a relative TV unknown steal her thunder. Christine Baranski played Patsy to Cybill's Edina, as struggling actress Cybill Sheridan coped with middle age and an insane family, but it was Christine who got the most notice (and an Emmy), which must have rankled Cybill after watching the same thing happen to Bruce Willis.

The intro was just perfect, as Cybill sings "Nice work if you can get it," as we see the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, with Cybill (the character)'s name scrawled in chalk.

Congrats to johned, who guessed that yesterday's Pixuzzle™ © ® was 127 Hours.

VIA LION KING!

Having enjoyed Snicks' 70s list so much, I made a similar one concerning the UK. The rules are the same "every song must have hit the top ten on the official UK charts, and they all must be performed by female vocalists, either solo or as part of a group". I added one extra rule, out of respect for master Snicks, which is that every song that would be eligible for both lists would not be included in mine.

The weird will be there side by side with the wonderful, because that's what the British Charts are all about.

At No 58, we meet one of the best soul voices ever, the "Empress of Soul" Gladys Knight (b. 1944), who, along with her brother and cousins as the Pips, her backup singers, had a great career, especially in the 70s. Classics like Midnight Train To Georgia, Neither One Of Us and Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me were big US Top 3 Hits, otherwise they would be very high up my list. (MTTG would definitely be in my Top 3). There are 2 songs that are available though and they're both in my list. Baby Don’t Change Your Mind is our song and it was a minor hit in the US (#52). It did make the R&B Top 10 though. It did much better in the UK, reaching #4 in 1977.
