Beyonce Gets Star Salute In Pentatonix's Amazing New A Capella Video: WATCH
With a little help from Glee and Pitch Perfect, Pentatonix has turned the once cringeworthy genre of a capella music on its head—they teamed up with Todrick Hall on “The Wizard of Ahhhs” and other parodies, and have released amazing instrument-less versions of "Roar," "Thrift Shop" and more pop hits.
Now, the group is turning its gaze toward music education, with its Evolution of Music series: After releasing a video that takes us from 11th century monastic chants to Aretha Franklin, Pentatonix has zoomed in on 21st century diva Beyonce, with a five-and-a-half minute musical tribute to Queen Bey, both as a solo artists and with Destiny's Child. (If you want to see these accomplished a capell-icans in person, check out tour dates for their upcoming U.S. and European tour.)
Who do you want Pentatonix to give the "evolution" treatment to next? Britney? Gaga? Barbra?
