Beyoncé Drops Surprise Album, “Apesh*t” Video, With Jay-Z: “Get Off My D*ck!”

"Everything Is Love" is available exclusively on Tidal.

Clearly picking up Trump's slack, our president Beyoncé has officially recognized Pride month!

That must be why Queen B dropped a surprise album yesterday with husband Jay-Z, right? Unfortunately, it's available exclusively on the subscription-based streaming service Tidal, because some people are still trying to make that happen.

While the world continues to give us lemons, Beyoncé and Jay-Z made the joint album Everything Is Love, billed as the first full-length release by The Carters, 10 tracks about their public and private lives. The power couple is only a few dates into their co-headlining On the Run II tour, which kicked off last week.

Because everything these lovers do is high art, the new video for the album's lead single, "Apeshit," was directed by Ricky Saiz and shot in May at the Louvre in Paris, presumably snatching the Mona Lisa bald.

"I can't believe we made it," Bey sings on the track. "Have you ever seen the crowd goin' apeshit?"

"Apeshit" also celebrates the Carter family's "lavish" life—"I got expensive fabrics, I got expensive habits," Bey sings—and the "vitamin D" injections she gets from her man. Got any problems with that? "Get off my dick," she warns.

The lyrics seem to confirm that Jay-Z turned down an offer to play the Super Bowl halftime show. They also manage to shade the Grammys, which snubbed him this year after he had earned the most nominations.

The other tracks on Everything Is Love are “Summer,” “Boss,” “Nice,” “713,” “Friends,” “Heard About Us,” “Black Effect,” “Lovehappy,” and bonus track "Salud!"

Many of the songs continue to explore the couple's marital struggles, stirring post-infidelity tea previously spilled on Beyoncé's 2016 album Lemonade and Jay-Z’s 2017 album 4:44. "We went through hell with heaven on our side," Bey sings on "Lovehappy." "This beach ain’t always been no paradise."

Oh, and if you're annoyed you need a Tidal login to hear Everything Is Love, trust that Bey can't be bothered. On "Nice," she sings, "If I gave two fucks about streaming numbers, would’ve put Lemonade up on Spotify."
