Beyoncé Kicks Off “Formation” Tour With Breathtaking Show In Miami

See highlights from the show, which included water effects, pyrotechnics and a salute to Prince.

Hot off the release of her much buzzed about album Lemonade, Beyoncé continued her amazing momentum last night with the jaw-dropping debut of her “Formation World Tour” in Miami.

But she didn’t forget her fans—Bey even invited two concertgoers on stage during “Single Ladies.”

“I’m Beyoncé,” the icon said welcoming the two girls onstage.

“We know!” one cried, clearly starstruck over the fact she was meeting one of the world’s biggest artists.

The fans were right at home on stage—Even B had to take a step back and let the two do their thing.

Throughout the show Beyoncé incorporated intricate costumes, water effects and pyrotechnics, performing songs from Lemonade as well as classics like “Baby Boy” and “Ring the Alarm” and even Destiny’s Child’s “Survivor.”

Check out highlights below.

She also honored Prince, who passed away suddenly last week, and thanked him for his “beautiful music” and inspiration.

Bey closed the epic performance with a rendition of “Halo” which she dedicated to husband Jay Z. “I love you so much,” she said before getting into the song.
