Beyoncé Releases “Lemonade,” New Visual Album, On HBO

And the internet went wild.

After much anticipation, Beyoncé has finally poured us a nice tall glass of Lemonade.

Saturday night’s HBO special had fans gagging, as Queen Bey released her new visual album, followed by the actual album’s arrival on Tidal.

The entire project was deeply personal to the pop star. The first half took on infidelity, leading many to believe they now know why Solange went off on Jay-Z in that elevator, while the second half dealt with topics like women’s empowerment and the Black Lives Matter movement.

One of the videos for the track “All Night” featured a montage of happy couples, and Beyoncé included two gay couples in the mix.

What do you think of Lemonade, squirrel friends? Was it worth the wait? Or more importantly, does it actually make downloading Tidal worth it?
