Gospel Beyonce To Bless The Grammys With A Touching "Selma" Tribute

Just one year after slaying a national audience with a "sexually provocative" performance of "Drunk In Love," Beyonce will return to the Grammys stage on Sunday to bless America with a more wholesome gospel ballad. (Are you sitting? You should probably sit down for this.)

Common revealed the life-affirming news in an interview with Us Weekly this week, saying Queen Bey will sing a portion of his Oscar-nominated song "Glory" from the Selma soundtrack to introduce his joint performance with John Legend.

"We do have an incredible introduction to our performance," he said. "A segue into our song 'Glory,' as a tribute to Selma, being done by the great Beyonce. That's one of the greatest talents you can have, helping us segue into it. To co-create a performance with someone like her. It's good."

The great Beyonce? It's good? You are far too humble, Common.

The 16-time Grammy Award-winning legend is nominated in six categories this year, including Album of the Year.

Though we already know she'll provide the best performance of the night, she'll be sharing the stage with other scheduled performers for the evening including Rihanna, Kanye West, Madonna, Sam Smith and Ariana Grande.
