In the fall of last year, Jay-Z had New York in a frenzy as he performed eight sold out performances at the newly constructed Barclays Center in Brooklyn. As if he is any competition for King Bey, Mrs. Carter managed to sell out her Brooklyn debut in less than ten seconds! Talk about competition. Distraught fans were devastated as they took to Twitter to mourn the loss of the tickets that they were probably never going to get.

On another note, Beyonce was pretty low-key last night at the Grammys, where she picked up an award for Best Traditional R&B Performance, tying her with husband, Jay-Z, who picked up three awards last night, capping both of them off with 17 Grammy awards each.
