Behold the “Bi-Chair” for Queer Folks Who Just Can’t Sit Straight

Big bi news! Are you sitting down (awkwardly)?

Unusual sitting habits, much like cuffed jeans and enduring erasure, have become widely accepted as bisexual culture, in the same way that fast-walking with an iced coffee is almost too gay to function.

This bi-sitting phenomenon recently inspired Brazilian artist Má Matiazi to post a playful sketch for the "Bi-Chair," which she "designed for people who can't sit straight."

It wasn't long before Israel Walker, a Starbucks employee and woodworker in Iowa, used that sketch to physically construct the world’s first chair for bisexuals.

"My daughter (who identifies as bisexual genderfuck) thinks that her and other LGBTQ+ folks inability to sit 'normally' is hilarious," Walker captioned photos of his crafty creation on Facebook. "So I asked Má if I could make my own rough style of Bi-Chair and she said yes!"

Queer sitters everywhere were understandably quick to demand that the cheeky wooden chair be patented and mass-manufactured for purchase.

"This is what the kids call a large mood," one commenter wrote. "Would replace all my dining chairs," another agreed. Can a GoFundMe campaign be far behind?

Walker writes on Facebook that he plans to unveil a revised version of the Bi-Chair soon.
