Billy Eichner and Tiffany Haddish Go on a Witch Hunt for Their “Hocus Pocus” Remake

"Wokus Pocus!"

It’s the season of the witch, and Billy Eichner and Tiffany Haddish are on the hunt for one in a new digital episode of Billy on the Street.

The new video features Eichner and Haddish running around the streets of New York as they embark on a casting call to round out their new diverse remake of the Halloween cult classic, Hocus Pocus.

In case Disney is thinking about making this a reality, just know we would be first in line to watch a Hocus Pocus remake starring Eichner and Haddish.

Do they succeed in finding a third witch? You will have to watch the video to find out, but stick around until the end because fan-favorite Elena finally makes her return to Billy on the Street.

Last year, Eichner announced he was putting his pop culture quiz show on hold for a bit after five years on TruTV.

Now the out actor-comedian has announced that Billy on the Street will return for a new season, consisting of eight short-form episodes with appearances from celebrity guests including Tiffany Hadish, Emma Stone, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Kate McKinnon.

The new episodes will be available to watch on all of Eichner’s social media accounts, as well as the Billy on the Street YouTube page, and Funny or Die’s social media and website.

Here is Eichner’s announcement on the new season:

I’m back to heal the country … and the world! After 5 seasons of the TV series, I knew I wanted to set the show aside in order to create some time in my schedule to pursue other projects. Now that those are taking shape, I’m truly thrilled we’ve found a way to bring Billy on the Street back that makes so much sense for this particular show. As we all know, this is a very divisive, anxiety ridden time and I hope these new segments — featuring the most stunning roster of guests we’ve ever had — give people a small burst of joy in their timelines while allowing me to comment on culture and the world at large in the unique way this show allows me to.

I write about drag queens. Dolly Parton once ruffled my hair and said I was "just the cutest thing ever."
