Billy Gilman Gets Back To Country Roots On "The Voice" With Stunning Martina McBride Cover

Miley Cyrus was so blown away by the performance that she predicted he may win the whole season.

Billy Gilman gave another jaw-dropping vocal performance on The Voice this week, this time with a cover of Martina McBride's "Anyway" that brought him back to the genre that first made him famous nearly two decades ago.

Gilman was a child country star with his 2000 hit "One Voice," but his time on The Voice has so far only seen him covering pop songs.

The frontrunner changed that on Monday night's episode though, and brought the judges to their feet with his rendition of the Martina McBride hit.

Gilman, who is on team Adam Levine, hit such powerful notes that Miley Cyrus and the other judges got nervous for their own teams.

"At this point in the competition, that’s not good for us, but it’s really good for you...As a coach, I’m flipping out,” Cyrus said. “It just heightened what you already are, which is maybe the winner of The Voice.”
