Billy Gilman Knocks Out The Competition With "Fight Song" Performance On "The Voice"

The former child star was fighting to keep his spot on Adam Levine's team.

Billy Gilman is proving to be an unstoppable force on this season of The Voice after delivering a powerhouse performance of Rachel Platten's "Fight Song" during last week's Knockout Round.

The former country star solidified his spot as a frontrunner on the competition's eleventh season when he blew the judges away with his roaring rendition of the anthem, which contains lyrics fitting of the singer's journey.

Gilman rose to fame as a 12-year-old in 2000 with his hit "One Voice," but says he lost his way in the music industry when his voice started changing.

The singer then came out as gay in 2014 and was worried how the revelation might affect his music career, but his time on The Voice is proving that all the country seems to care about is his insane talent.

Check out his performance of "Fight Song" below.
