Billy Porter’s Famous Pals Lip Sync His Pride Anthem “Love Yourself”

"How blessed I feel to have lived long enough to see this day."

The time has come for you to lip sync... for your love.

Emmy-winning Pose star and LGBTQ activist Billy Porter caps off a banner year with a star-studded new video for his empowering club hit "Love Yourself."

The celebrity lip sync video, directed by Ryan Ratelle for RRR Creative, features Pose co-stars Mj Rodriguez, Ryan Jamaal Swain, Dyllón Burnside, Jeremy McClain, and Jason A. Rodriguez, Kinky Boots cast and creatives Cyndi Lauper, Jerry Mitchell, Stark Sands, Annaleigh Ashford, Lena Hall, and stars from the musical's Ogunquit Playhouse engagement; and the Broadway cast of Ain’t Too Proud.

The video also features Kelly Ripa, Debra Messing, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Patina Miller, Nathan Lee Graham, Christian Siriano, Miss J, and Peppermint. Because if you can't love yourself, how in the hell you gonna be loved by other famous people?

"Wow... my heart just skipped a beat," said Porter in a statement. “What a gift it is to be celebrated by my peers and afforded a moment for me to reflect. I don’t get a lot of time to do that... how blessed I feel to have lived long enough to see this day. Thank you everybody! Thank you for listening! The category is... LOVE."

The 50-year-old Grammy and Tony winner performed "Love Yourself," which reached No. 1 on Billboard's Dance Club Play Songs chart, at the WorldPride opening ceremony and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. He will also rock the LGBTQ anthem while co-hosting Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin' Eve live from New Orleans.

"I’m thrilled to be spreading the message of self-love to my community whose humanity and worth have been up for legislation for way too long," the fashion icon said in a previous statement about the single's release. "On this 50th anniversary of Stonewall I’m proud to unite with my LGBTQ brothers and sisters to remind the world that we’re here and we ain’t goin’ nowhere. Love always wins!"

"Billy's talent and his platform are the perfect vessels for such an urgent message," added D. Smith, who wrote and produced the song. "As a proud African-American transgender woman and music producer, I just knew he would be the right messenger for this song and I was right, he killed it! It was an amazing experience working with Billy in the studio and I am thrilled to have written and produced the track for him. My LGBTQIA+ friends and family need to hear this. The world needs to hear it as well."

Porter will next be seen opposite Tiffany Haddish and Rose Byrne in the film Like a Boss. Pose is expected to return next summer for its third season on FX.
