Bobby Brown is spilling plenty of tea while promoting his new book, Every Little Step, including claiming that his former wife Whitney Houston was bisexual.

Rumors often swirled that Houston was having an affair with her best friend and assistant, Robyn Crawford, and Brown just told Us Weekly that there's plenty of truth behind the stories.

"I know," Brown said. "We were married for 14 years. There are some things we talked about that were personal to us."

The pop superstar had always denied the allegations, but Brown thinks that's only because her mother, Cissy Houston, would have never approved of the relationship. In fact, Cissy told Oprah in 2013 that it would have definitely bothered her if her daughter had been gay, and she would not have accepted it.

Houston's mother reportedly even kept insisting that Robyn be fired, a fact that Brown thinks contributed to the late singer's untimely death.

“I really feel that if Robyn was accepted into Whitney’s life, Whitney would still be alive today,” he said. “She didn’t have close friends with her anymore.”

Brown goes on to specify that he does believe Whitney was bisexual, as opposed to being a closeted lesbian.

"I'm a man and she was attracted to me!" he said.
