Gay BFF Becomes Dominatrix’s Assistant in New “Bonding” Trailer

“Heathers” star Brendan Scannell is so good it hurts.

It's a dirty job but somebody has to do it.

The first trailer is out for the upcoming blackpills digital series Bonding, which premiered Friday at Outfest. Brendan Scannell and Zoe Levin star as former high school besties who reconnect in an unexpected way.

"Pete (Scannell), a recently out gay man, and Tiff (Levin), a grad student, hope to pick up right where they left off," reads an official Bonding synopsis.

"But Tiff has a secret: she’s one of New York City’s top dominatrixes, and she’s about to tie Pete up in her underground world of sexual secrecy and BDSM."

Scannell fans should lick this up after the Heathers reboot, in which the out actor starred as genderqueer Heather Duke, was scrapped by Paramount Network.

Bonding, according to Deadline, is loosely based on the real-life experiences of out actor Rightor Doyle (Barry, You’re the Worst), who wrote, directed, and executive-produced the series.

Produced by Anonymous Content, known for LGBTQ-inclusive shows like 13 Reasons Why and Schitt's Creek, the dramedy also stars Alex Hurt, Micah Stock, and D’Arcy Carden.

Bonding will be released later this year.
