Diane Keaton And Jane Fonda Release Their Inner Kink In New “Book Club” Trailer

"If women our age were meant to have sex, God wouldn't do what he does to our bodies."

The first trailer for Book Club has dropped and not since Oprah have we been this excited about joining a book club.

The movie got its first bit of publicity during last year’s solar eclipse when one of the film’s leads, Candace Bergen, posted a picture on her Instagram of her and her three co-stars, Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton and Mary Steenburgen watching the solar eclipse that occurred while they were filming.

Now six months later, a trailer has finally been released for the film that we will be lining up at the box office for—after brunch, of course—on opening weekend. Book Club is about four friends who gather to drink wine and discuss books—until Fonda’s character (in a questionable wig) shakes things up by bringing Fifty Shades of Grey as her latest book club selection.

Reading the kinky novel has the four women exploring their untapped sexual side, including Steenburgen’s character who asks her husband, played by Craig T. Nelson, if he wants to tie her up. But not everyone in the book club is jumping on the BDSM bandwagon so quickly.

“If women our age were meant to have sex, God wouldn’t do what he does to our bodies,” Bergen says in the trailer.
