The Boy Scouts of America have joined Chick-fil-A in Homophobiatown and are now paying the consequences.

Eagle Scout Zach Wahls, who founded Scouts for Equality, asked Intel to stop giving money to BSA, until it stops its discrimination against homosexuality. He also started an online petition for the cause, and it has over 30,000 signatures. Intel responded by revealing they revisited their policies this year, and they will not fund anyone who discriminates against creed or sexual orientation.

The company's Chief Diversity Officer, Rosalind Hudnell said, "Due to significant growth in the number of organizations funded, earlier this year we revisited our policies associated with the program, and applied new rigor that requires any organization to confirm that it adheres to Intel’s anti-discrimination policy in order to receive funding. Intel is committed to fostering a culture of inclusion and to supporting the communities in which we live and work."

Basically, Intel will only give money to local Boy Scout troops who don't discriminate.

Take that, homophobes.
