Boyfriends Andrew Rannells And Mike Doyle Starring In Judd Apatow's New Comedy
Move over Amy Schumer, Andrew Rannells is set to write and star in a new Judd Apatow movie with his real-life boyfriend, Mike Doyle.

Rannells, of course, appears in Girls, and was the toast of Broadway in both Book of Mormon and Hedwig and the Angry Inch. He'll be appearing next in the upcoming Nancy Meyers' film, The Intern. Doyle, who is co-writing, has appeared in 29th and Gay, Rabbit Hole, Gayby and the film version of Jersey Boys.
There's not much info on the unnamed film, but Apatow has been increasingly versatile with his projects—his next directorial effort, the Amy Schumer comedy Trainwreck—sees him turning his lens toward a female point of view. (Schumer wrote the script for Trainwreck, which arrives in theaters on July 17.)
We can only imagine what comedy gold will come from Apatow pairing with power gays Rannells and Doyle.
