Though the tumbler in and of itself isn’t reinventing the wheel (nor is Starbucks donating any of its proceeds to an LGBTQ advocacy group), the company gets solid ally points for continuously backing the needs of its trans and gender non-conforming employees, including comprehensive health care benefits. All proceeds from this colorful limited-edition shaving set will benefit The Trevor Project. It’s the latest move toward LGBTQ inclusion on behalf of Harry’s, which also won major praise from trans and gender non-conforming advocates worldwide after spotlighting a trans man in an April video ad.

Its release also marks Macy’s 10th consecutive year launching a Pride + Joy campaign. Yes, that means Macy’s was supporting LGBTQ equality and Pride Month as early as 2009. Like, pre-marriage equality and pre-the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”

New York City’s first and only fully gender-neutral retailer is the official merch sponsor for WorldPride 2019 and Stonewall50. Comping some of The Phluid Project’s Pride ’19 collection backs a queer-owned and operated business. Plus, 10% of each purchase of any item from Phluid’s Pride collection are funneled back to New York City’s official Pride organization, Heritage of Pride, which plans and produces the city’s annual queer-themed festivities come June.
